Titan New Venture Challenge

Friday, April 8, 5-7 pm

Hansen Student Center 

Individual students and student teams will present their ideas and plans to win the “Titan New Venture Challenge.” The winning team will receive $5000 and a faculty supporter and mentor. The event is free with food provided, and open to the public. RSVP to gleach@iwu.edu

 

Juried Student Art Exhibition

Saturday, April 9, 1-3 pm

Many different groups on campus sponsor awards, such as The Ames Library Purchase Award or The School of Art Purchase Award. This means the winners artwork will be on display in a building on campus for years to come. The winner of the Presidential Award has their art displayed in the president’s home for a year. Alumni can also purchase art. Students will receive non-monetary awards as well. 

 

Carnival Day

Saturday, April 9, 5-8 pm

Hansen Student Center parking lot

CAB will bring carnival rides, a fun slide and food/food trucks all for free. This event will take place in the parking lot as well as the grass area around Hansen. This event is sponsored by Campus Activities Board and this is their biggest event of the year. 

 

Multicultural Senior Celebration

Sunday, April 10, 3-5pm

Young Main Lounge, Memorial Center

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion will celebrate senior students of color at this annual event. 

 

Spring Choral Concert

Sunday, April 10, 3pm

Second Presbyterian Church

This event is sponsored by the School of Music. The church is located at 404 N Prairie St in Bloomington. 

 

Student Senate General Assembly

Sunday, April 10, 6-7 p.m.

Hansen Student Center

 

General Assembly meetings are open for the entire student body. There is no entry fee for this event. Students do not have to be a senator to attend and the student senate encourages everyone to attend. 

 

Yoga in Spanish – Cuerpo y Mente

Wednesday, April 13, 5-6pm

Niepagen Southeast Classroom, Shirk Center 

Students can practice Spanish and center themselves with yoga. All levels of language skills and physical abilities are welcome. If weather permits, this event may take place on the quad. This event is sponsored by the Language Resource Center.
