The Titans face off against College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin rival Millikin University on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, for their final match of regular season CCIW play.

The late-night matchup will be the Titans’ seventh home game of the 2025 season, with the Green and White home slate at four wins, two losses and one draw.

In almost 40 years of rivalry, the Green and White have an all-time record of 21-22-2 against the Big Blue, with their home record against Millikin a disappointing 11-14.

The Titans haven’t hosted the Big Blue at Neis Field since 2022, when the Titans topped Millikin in a 2-1 win. Then first-year-now-senior goalkeeper Sam Kedzior had four saves.

The Titans’ last match against Millikin was a loss, falling 2-3. Again, Kedzior was goalie with four saves. Ben Lyons, current sophomore midfielder and IWU’s leading scorer through 15 games, scored a goal in the outing with two shots on goal.

Buskohl’s Predictions:

The Titans have played incredibly this season. They only have one loss in conference, and that was to the now 2025 winner of the CCIW, Wheaton.

I predict the Titans will be able to keep the Big Blue at bay and have another signature stomping to finish the year strong.

We’ve seen the Titans go on insane scoring streaks this season, and I think a similar feat could take place on Wednesday. The Big Blue may keep the Titans out of the goal for a little bit, but the Titans will eventually score, a score that could start a three- or even four-goal run by the Green and White.

Meanwhile, in the goal, I have no issue with predicting Kedzior—who recently eclipsed 250 career saves—to possibly shut out the Big Blue.

While Millikin averages almost 2 goals a game, I think the Titans’ better-than-average defense can limit Millikin’s opportunities and keep the Big Blue’s minds distracted by their high-flying offense.

But let’s not get too carried away. I’ll give the Big Blue one goal out of the kindness of my heart.

FINAL SCORE PREDICATION: 4-1, Titans win.
