Punxsutawney Phil might have seen his shadow and forecasted six more weeks of winter earlier this month, but the IWU women’s golf team is ready to start their spring season regardless.
The Titans are hitting the road on March 7, 2026, to compete in the Westbrook Invitational, hosted by the Westbrook Village GC in Peoria, Ariz. The Invitational will be the Titans’ first competition since the Golfweek October Classic in October last year.
The Green and White are also coming off winning the program’s 20th College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championship.
The Titans are one of eight teams duking it out at The Westbrook Invitational. While Illinois Wesleyan has participated in the Invitational every year since 2018 (minus one COVID cancellation), they have yet to place in the top three.
Live stats for the contest won’t be available, but daily updates will be posted on the iwusports.com website.
