A new addition to the school, the IWU esports team has come onto the scene with a splash. On Oct. 10, the League of Legends team, one of Wesleyan’s several esports teams, competed in a tournament in Irving, California, taking first overall.
Going into the tournament seeded no. 1, the team lived up to their expectations, defeating other nationally ranked opponents on their journey to the top of the podium.
Possessing a wide array of talent, there is a strong possibility the Titan esports team will have success in their future competitions.
