With spring break approaching quickly, most students already have their plans cemented. This middle of the semester break is a time to let loose and get away from all the responsibilities. Here is where each sign should travel to this March.
Pisces (February 19th – March 20th) – Cancún, Mexico
Since your birthday could fall on spring break there is no time like the present to go crazy. Mexico is a long-time favorite vacation spot. Yes this is an extravagant college spring break trip but you only have four. Take advantage of this time.
Aries (March 21st – April 19th) – Miami, Florida
Florida is a classic spring break spot for college students around the country. Miami is a hub for nightlife and things to do. This city is constantly ready for a party. This break you need to let loose and have fun and Miami welcomes that care free energy.
Taurus (April 20th – May 20th) – Las Vegas, Nevada
Nevada is an unpredictable spot to spend your spring vacation. But there are so many benefits to Las Vegas. It is warm and you can gamble (if you are of age). Why not test your luck on the slots? It has to be a better risk than taking a test you did not study for.
Gemini (May 21st – June 20th) – Nashville, Tennessee
Nashville has everything a college student would need for a spring break and it is only six hours away from IWU. This vacation spot is driving distance and full of all the fun you could want. Nashville is more fun if you are a fan of country music but you Gemini, could have fun anywhere.
Cancer (June 21st – July 22nd) – San Diego, California
You like the ocean but want a less basic vacation than Florida. Hope on a flight and visit San Diego. This city is full of beaches, surfing and delicious food. Take a trip across the country for your main character beach moment.
Leo (July 23rd – August 22nd) – Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Because you love being the center of attention there is no better place for you. Fort Lauderdale is one of the most popular college spring break destinations. There must be a reason that this destination is so popular. Go and see what they have to offer and then you can tell all of your classmates about this trip, even though they probably will not care.
Virgo (August 23rd – September 22nd) – Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
There is nothing like a traditional family vacation for a stress-free spring break. Sike. But if you go on this trip with your family maybe they will pay for it? If not that is okay, family time is so important and getting a break from your annoying friends will be nice too.
Libra (September 23rd – October 22nd) – Scottsdale, Arizona
Since the Super Bowl, Scottsdale is the place to be. Sure there is no beach in Arizona but it is still warm. You should be the first to understand that everything cannot be perfect. This semester has been rough and any break will be good, so take that as it is.
Scorpio (October 23rd – November 21st) – Los Angeles, California
You are better than everyone else because you know that the beach is actually boring. Take after the popular Miley Cyrus song “Party in the U.S.A” and hop off your flight at LAX and live your best life. I wish I could promise warm weather in Southern California but check the LA weather reports before you go.
Sagittarius (November 22nd – December 21st) – Chicago, Illinois
Vacation on a budget is still a vacation. Chicago is only two hours away from IWU and there is so much to do. Even though the city is cold it is still bursting with activities. Do you actually want to go anywhere far? Romanticize your trip by taking the train and listening to Gracie Abrams new debut album “Good Riddance” the whole way.
Capricorn (December 22nd – January 19th) – South Padre Island, Texas
Since you are always looking for the next best thing, I present to you Texas for spring break. There will be a lot of young people because this is an up-and-coming vacation spot but it will not be as crazy as Florida.
Aquarius (January 20th – February 18th) – Lake Tahoe, California
As you know, you are different and quirky. That is why Lake Tahoe is the place for you. It is not warm and is the opposite of a traditional spring break. So this is probably the perfect fit for you. You will still have fun and be different. Congratulations.
