Student Senate General Assembly

Sun, September 19, 6pm – 7pm

All General Assembly meetings are open to the entire student body, and regardless of if you are a senator or not, students are encouraged to come.

 

Fall Kickoff: Teddy Zmrhal ’94

Tues, September 21, 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Teddy Zmrhal ‘94, Global Vice President – Design and Innovation at Salesforce.  A liberal arts education can take you in many different directions.  Feeding on research from books like Range and X, Teddy (Spanish and International Business double major, Russian minor), now Global Vice President – Design and Innovation at Salesforce, will share his winding and unconventional career path.

 

Men’s Soccer Vs. Knox

Tues, September 21, 7pm – 9pm

Men’s Soccer faces off against Knox at Neis Field. Streaming is available through the IWU Sports website.

 

Story Exchange

Wed, September 22, 4pm – 6pm

The Center for Human Rights and Social Justice and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion are hosting a Narrative 4 Story Exchange that focuses on community as we continue to process living in the time of a global pandemic. Women’s Volleyball Vs. Wheaton

Women’s Volleyball is set to play Wheaton at the Shirk Center.

 

International Film Series: Even in the Rain

Thursday, September 23, 7pm – 8pm

The International Film Series is kicking off with “Even the Rain” (2010), a drama set during the Cochabamba Water War protests in early 2000. Held at the Beckman Auditorium in Ames Library. Sponsored by the International and Global Studies Department.

 

Hazing Prevention Speaker

Thu, September 23, 7:30pm – 8:30pm

A discussion regarding hazing and hazing prevention will be held at the Hansen Center.

 

Women’s Volleyball Vs. Mount St. Joseph

Fri, September 24, 4:30pm – 6:30pm

Women’s Volleyball will face off against Mount St. Joseph for their first game of the Holiday Inn Express Classic II tournament.

 

OSI Escape Rooms

Fri, September 24, 4:30pm – 6:30pm

OSI is bringing escape rooms to the Young Main Lounge in the Memorial Center. Each room only takes 15 minutes to solve and can accommodate groups of five people or less. Themes for the rooms include Aztec, crime interception, and time travel. No sign-up is required for this free student event. Sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement.

 

Women’s Volleyball Vs. Calvin

Fri, September 24, 7pm – 9pm

For their second match of the Holiday Inn Express Classic II, women’s volleyball will play Calvin at the Shirk Center.

 

Language Camp For Kids Fall Session

Sat, September 25, 9:00am – 10:30am

LSK Fall 2021 Session meets on Saturday mornings, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Classes in French and Spanish will be offered for pre-K to 5th Grade. Classes will be held on the first floor of CLA.

 

Women’s Volleyball Vs. Hope

Sat, September 25, 3pm – 5pm

The Women’s Volleyball team will finish their performance in the Holiday Inn Express Classic II tournament with a match against Hope at the Shirk Center.
