On Monday, April 8, IWU Office of Advancement raised over $2.6 million for scholarships, research and academic programs through All In for Wesleyan, an annual fundraising event.
Over 3,100 students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the Titan community from 38 states donated to exceed the university’s Million Dollar Goal.
Participants directed their donations to specific needs on campus, such as the Parent Fund, which supports a student’s education if they have a parent pass away during their enrollment. The Titan community raised over $21,000 for this fund.
Contributors also donated to general, Greek life, department and McLean county scholarships, directly impacting student tuition costs. The Wesleyan fund is a discretionary fund that goes to needs on campus, such as research and other academic pursuits.
On campus, the Office of Advancement provided students with a breakfast bar, Kona Ice truck, LEGO blocks station and other activities to promote student involvement.
