Award, honors and recognition:
Titan Baseball swept Wheaton in their four game conference series.
Junior Colleen Palczynski and sophomore Nina Mardjetko swept the CCIW softball awards. Palczynski earned CCIW Hitter of the Week while Mardjetko earned CCIW Pitcher of the week.
For the second week in a row senior Rob Wuethrich earned CCIW golfer of the week. The men’s golf team is on a three match win streak to pair with Wuethrichs’ winning performances.
Men’s lacrosse is on a five game win streak with an overall record of 8-1 and a 4-0 conference record. Senior Max Bousky earned his second CCIW faceoff player of the week and sophomore Carson Kiichle won offensive player of the week.
Junior Bridget O’Malley tabbed her first individual award this past week after earning CCIW defensive player of the week from her performance against Elmhurst where the Titan’s won 17-8.
Men’s and women’s track and field teams won a combined eight events at their weekend match at Eastern Illinois University.
Senior Mike Murphy broke a fifteen year sack record for football. Murphy’s five sacks is a new single-season record. The offensive line also had five individuals earn a spot on the D3football team of the week.
