Illinois Wesleyan University’s men’s golf team standout, Bobby Beaubien, hailing from Barrington, has secured the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Golfer of the Week accolade for the third time in his career. This continues a three-week streak of recognition for the team, following notable performances by Jackson Hulsey and Raj Sethi.

Beaubien’s impressive week commenced with a significant win at the CCIW Preview on September 26, where he concluded with a five-under 67, matching his career-low set at the 2023 NCAA Division III National Championship. The team dominated, securing the top position, with the ‘B’ and ‘C’ teams also delivering commendable results.

Maintaining his stellar form, Beaubien played a pivotal role in the Titans’ success at Millikin’s Jim Butts Classic on September 29-30. Posting back-to-back rounds of two-under, he concluded with a career-best total of 138, surpassing his previous career-low of 141 by three shots.

Following a brief hiatus for Homecoming, the Illinois Wesleyan golf team is set to showcase their skills at Golfweek from October 15-17 in the Sunshine State.
